Dating is like one of those strength tester games, where you grab a mallet, hit the lever, and try to ring the bell at the top to win a prize. For someone who is inexperienced and having a hard time learning, you feel like the guy who keeps getting closer and closer to the bell, and maybe rings it once or twice...this is akin to the guy who gets a date here or there and makes out with a girl every once in a while.
But at some point you learn the guy who gets all the girls not only rings the bell consistently, but he also OWNS the hammer and the tower with the bell. In fact he owns several of them, as well as other games. Or maybe he owns the entire amusement park.
This isn't exactly profound...but for some reason it strikes a chord with me. The guy who is making "some progress" with women is in an entirely different world than the guy who is a natural and attracts lots of women. The guy just trying to ring the bell has a lot less power, overall, than the guy who runs the show. We all need to become that guy if we want real success with women. |
